Eric von Stein is an artist and toy designer based on the outskirts of New York City, whose obsession with stuffed animals and toys was spartked as a youngster growing up in Connecticut. He went on to study Toy Design at New York’s FIT, and he and his friend Sabre Mikva have since created Bright Stripes, a company centered around championing childrens’ creativity through innovative toys and products. More recently, Eric has been using AI art tool Midjourney to create imaginary toys from yesteryear, and to aid and inspire his work as a toy designer.
