Emma Larsson

Sweden

Growing up in Sweden, Emma Larsson would surround herself with nature, passing the time in a nearby forest where she’d collect trinkets to display in her childhood bedroom. This keen interest in nature followed her as she learned how to paint, creating colorful, abstract artworks that take the shape of fauna and flora—whether she intends them to or not. We featured a series of watercolor paintings by Emma and spoke to her about cultivating a world where creativity can thrive.
