Italian artist, sculptor and set designer Edoardo Tresoldi transforms swathes of wire mesh into ethereal, life-sized architectural works that are nearly transparent from a distance. Edoardo has erected his ghostly, site-specific structures in a variety of locales, from an archeological site in Southern Italy to a restaurant in New York, creating an interesting dialogue around human beings, nature, and the built environment. In 2018, Edoardo spoke to WePresent about “Etherea,” an installation of three colossal wire-mesh structures that he brought to that year’s Coachella festival.
