Duran Lantink is best known for the billowing pink “vagina pants” he created for Janelle Monae's video for “PYNK,” but those labial garments are just the tip of the iceberg for the Dutch fashion designer. He’s built his entire brand around unusual designs that defy convention, grounded by a spirit of experimentation and sustainability. His limited-edition garments, shoes, and accessories are often made from deadstock textiles, found materials, charity shop finds, and materials donated by luxury designers. Duran designs have found favor with the likes of Billie Eilish and Solange, and in 2019, he was shortlisted for the prestigious LVMH Prize.
