Annika Weertz is an artist and photographer based in Germany working for national and international clients across editorial, fashion and portrait photography. Her work is grounded in close observation of people, spaces and everyday situations. Rather than imposing a fixed aesthetic, she approaches her subjects through proximity and attention, allowing ambiguity, intimacy and contradiction to remain visible. We featured her project “Passing,” which featured photos of her late father driving her from place to place, to create a study of grief and the traces and memories we leave behind.
