Andy Rementer is an artist (and ‘creative person’) based in Philadelphia. Andy’s work, with its big bold colors and funky characters, is inspired by the 1960s—having been raised with the loose and free ideas of the era front and center. To mark the 50th anniversary of the Summer of Love in San Francisco, WePresent commissioned Andy to create four new artworks inspired by the high water mark of hippiedom. A testament to his work, Andy’s clients include Apple, Samsung, Lotte, the New York Times, Lacoste, Warby Parker, and BMW, and his characters and illustrations have been featured far and wide.
“I’ve always been inspired by the 60s,” he says. “My parents were hippies, and I grew up playing electric guitar, which makes it almost impossible not to be influenced by that time.”
