For Austria-based, Slovakian photographer Andrea Koporova, what you see isn’t necessarily what you get. She depicts the feeling of isolation by pulling her audience into alternate realities as she reflects on the modern contradictions of loneliness in a world that’s supposedly becoming more and more connected. In the series “Ghost Town,” featured on WePresent, we follow a lone subject as she explores an abandoned universe. A self-taught photographer, Andrea first picked up a camera in 2010 and hasn’t parted ways with one since.
