Ana Lily Amirpour was born to an Iranian family in England and raised in the United States. In 2016, she released her debut feature “A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night” — a short film shot in black and white, which follows a skateboarding Iranian vampire who bites the necks of her victims after dark. Her work is influenced by her childhood growing up with horror films on repeat (and a surgeon father, to boot). We followed Ana Lily as she collaborated with KENZO on “a three-pronged artistic endeavor incorporating music, film, and fashion” – shot by herself and Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
