Amine Ghorab builds entire worlds from scratch—no mean feat. Using CGI, he studies form, texture and objects; sometimes featuring familiar items, but oftentimes incorporating weird, sponge-like objects, rotating back and forth, without a clear purpose. His purpose, he told WePresent, is to slightly distort our position in the world—creating small, incremental changes which move us from reality to the fantastical (and back again). Amine cofounded Area of Work with fellow artist Scott Renau, creating work for clients which spans fashion, culture and luxury. Clients include Louis Vuitton, Audi, Chanel and Moncler, and their work has been featured by Wallpaper*, It’s Nice That, Mold Magazine and In Corpore Sano.
