Photographer Alex Bartsch is a London-born (and bred) artist whose work aims to capture London in the only way possible—as a version of the city, in one of its many, ever-changing guises. Featured on WePresent, his work titled “One Love Books: Covers: Retracing Reggae Record Sleeves in London” captures 42 reggae vinyl sleeves, shot in situ at the original location shown on the cover art. Through the project, he not only shows a unique perspective on the often-stereotyped London, but also shines a light on important parts of the city that most would never visit. Alex has exhibited his work across the globe, from the Musée National de l’Histoire de l’Immigration in Paris, to HVW8 Gallery in Los Angeles.
