Akwasi Poku is a writer and director based in South London. His first short film, “LOCK OFF,” was well-received and garnered a number of international film festivals selections including Aesthetica Film Festival, Pan African Film Festival, Soul Fest & BBC Comedy Festival. We featured his film “The Therapist,” centered around mental health, barbershops and the importance of listening.
