Born in Quebec and raised in a French-Canadian household, filmmaker Vincent René-Lortie learned his craft at the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema in Montreal and made his name as the director of critically-acclaimed music videos and experimental films. We featured his film “Invincible,” which revisits an unresolved tragedy from his past, and paints a moving picture of teenage mental health.
