Tom van Schelven is a self-taught photographer from Manchester. Working in both editorial and commercial worlds, he has built a reputation for simplicity. With a strong focus on catching the eye and telling a clear story, he often places his subjects in carefully chosen, sparse environments. We featured Tom’s project, “In Flight,” which saw him photograph acrobats as they performed in the desert. The catch?
