Award-winning filmmaker Riley Hooper makes short documentaries about people in unique situations. A former intern of documentary filmmaker Albert Maysles, she worked at Vimeo before setting out on her own. Her subjects have included a blind swimmer who overcame her fears, the world’s oldest mime, a disabled street photographer, and two men on a mission to walk every block in New York. Riley’s short docs have screened internationally, and her work has been featured by the New York Times, the New Yorker, The Atlantic, and National Geographic. She has also produced commercials and branded content for the likes of Chase, GM, John Frieda, and Marriott.
