Canadian musician and producer Peaches (born Merrill Nisker) is an electropunk provocateur, coupling high-energy performance and avant-garde costumes with feminist lyrics set to music you can’t help but dance to. Since she first emerged in the 1990s, Peaches has put out five studio albums; staged her own homage to Jesus Christ Superstar; and collaborated with the likes of Iggy Pop, Daft Punk, Kim Gordon and Major Lazer. Peaches featured on WePresent as part of Notes from the Underground, an interview series featuring some of the most unusual creative minds working today. The series was curated by Dr Nelly Ben Hayoun, founder of the University of the Underground.
