Dutch illustrator Olf de Bruin has turned his vibrantly colored, slightly surreal aesthetic into illustrations for the likes of Triodos Bank, Volkskrant Magazine, de Volkskrant, and NRC Handelsblad. In 2016, Olf—who has said he harbors “a great fascination for evolution, mankind and the future”—published “Van Bollebast Tot Voortprinter,” a book in which he presented designs for six new species of human beings, evolved to make up for our shortcomings and adapted to the changing world around us.
