California-born, New York-based photographer Micaiah Carter is renowned for his portraits of Black cultural icons—including Zendaya, Pharrell, and Naomi Osaka—and for personal projects that celebrate the beauty of Black communities. A graduate of the Parsons School of Design, Carter has created work for clients including Vogue, Vanity Fair, Apple, Nike, Pyer Moss, and Thom Browne. In 2022, he collaborated with WePresent on “Optimism,” an intimate series that explored the vibrant cultural tapestry of Black consciousness.
