Cornish director Mark Jenkin is remarkable for his completely analog production process. Shooting all of his work on a 16mm camera, hand processing the film, and editing image and sound concurrently, he imbues his projects with eeriness and grit. Jenkin rose to fame in 2019 with his debut feature “Bait,” for which he picked up a BAFTA. Jenkins’ other projects include the features “Bronco's House” and “Enys Men,” along with music videos for The Smile and Bicep. In 2022, Jenkin spoke to WePresent about his essential filmmaking tools.
