London-based journalist, broadcaster and editor Kieran Yates focuses her eye on issues surrounding culture, technology, activism and politics. She’s written for The Guardian, The FADER, Vice, and The Independent, among other publications; and she has produced documentaries for the BBC, Channel 4, The Guardian, and Sky Arts, including looks at the musical scenes that have emerged from housing estates, and Muslim drag queens. The UK housing crisis is also a core interest, and forms the basis of Yates’ debut book, “All The Houses I’ve Lived In,” set to be published by Simon & Schuster in spring 2023. In 2023, Yates wrote a piece for WePresent’s Work Sucks, I Know series.
