Jef Van den Bossche is a Belgian photographer working and living in Antwerp. Alongside his commissioned work, he maintains a diverse personal practice, having documented communal spaces emptied by the pandemic and the Ghent Gargoyles Quidditch team. In 2022, WePresent spoke to Jef about his book “On a soif,” which offer an intimate look at Belgium’s vanishing volkscafés, and the role these spaces have occupied in Flemish communities.
