Mexican design duo Mara Soler and Daniela Villanueva, founders of the creative studio Flaminguettes, bill themselves as “the coolest señoritas directoras in the world of multidisciplinary stuff.” With charm and gusto, they’ve spun Mexican culture, pop references, eye-catching color and a surreal sense of humor into installations, animations, music videos, short films, and more; and their A-list client roster includes Pepsi, Air France, Cirque du Soleil, and Nike.
