Photographer and film director Fabrice Bourgelle has long made music—and musicians—his muse, shooting live performances, music videos, and behind-the-scenes content for the likes of Maribou State, Moses Sumney, Nubya Garcia, and Max Cooper. In 2018, he was commissioned by Gilles Peterson's record label Brownswood Recordings to produce “A Ldn Story,” a frenetic short film about the UK’s jazz renaissance that we hosted on WePresent. At the time, Fabrice spoke to us about the importance of community in the scene—both during this rebirth and historically.
