Watford-born, London-based singer-songwriter Connie Constance combines elements of indie rock, soul and alternative R&B music with frank, emotional lyrics inspired by real-life experiences. A natural storyteller, she first emerged in 2015, with the release of her EP “In the Grass,” and rose to prominence in 2019, with the release of her debut album, “English Rose.” In 2018, Connie featured on WePresent as part of a monthly series of live sessions with innovative musicians you’ve (probably) never heard of, hosted by world-renowned DJ Gilles Peterson.
