Ben Westbeech (aka Breach) is a British DJ, producer, vocalist and musician who now lives and works in Amsterdam. His work takes in hip hop, house and drum and bass, and he’s worked with a whole spectrum of talent from DJ Marky and Redlight to Kelis and Gilles Peterson. Classically trained in cello and piano, he uses his range of interests and skill to make his own stuff and run his own record label. Ben was part of our series WeTalkMusic, which explores artists’ different sides through some unexpected musical selections. He spent some time in Mooie Jongen Studio in Amsterdam’s canal district with friend and collaborator DJ Kon for an entertaining and wide-ranging discussion with host Thris Tian, covering everything from Bobby Brown to the UK outdoor rave scene.
