Ayse Birsel is a force to be reckoned with—born in Izmir, Turkey, Ayse’s work questions whether it’s possible to take creative thinking and apply it to our everyday lives (the answer is yes, according to her, and we’d be inclined to agree!) With this school of thought driving her work, in 2015 Ayse published “Design The Life You Love,” a book based on her own experience of pivoting her practice (and view on the world) following the 2008 economic crash. And in 2017, she was named one of Fast Company’s Most Creative. She is also on the Thinkers50 Radar List of the 30 management thinkers most likely to shape the future of organizations. If that wasn’t impressive enough, she has consulted for some of the world’s biggest companies, like Herman Miller, IKEA, The Scan Foundation, Staples and Toyota. Her work can also be found in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA).
